A condo can be purchased with a VA home loan if it meets the requirements set by the Veteran’s Administration:
1. At least 50% of units must be owner occupied (less than 50% are rented out).
2. Less than 15% of unit owners are behind on their HOA dues.
3. For new condos or recently converted apartments, at least 75% must be sold.
