The town of Belleair is an affluent waterfront community located in Pinellas County, Florida, and is part of the Tampa Bay metro area. As of the 2000 census, the population was 4,067. It is home to the famous Belleview Biltmore hotel, and it's most famous resident is Hulk Hogan. It's tree lined streets and beautiful estates make Belleair a very desirable address. It is also one of Florida's wealthiest neighborhoods.

Geography and Climate
Located in Pinellas County, Belleair lies on the Intracoastal Waterway with an elevation of about 49 feet. Belleair's neighbors include Clearwater, Belleair Bluffs, and Largo. The town of Belleair covers about 2.8 square miles, about 1 square mile of that is water. Belleair's close proximatey to Clearwater Beach and Belleair Beach along with its 2 golf courses make it a true paradise. Belleair's winter climate is mild, and attracts many northerners or "snowbirds". Belleair is located on the Pinellas Peninsula, so the climate is affected by its close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. In the winter, it is warmer on the Pinellas Peninsula then on mainland Florida. Most rainfall occurs in the summer, when the sea breeze carries moisture from the Gulf of Mexico inland. The average summer high temperature is around 90 degrees, with a night-time low around 75. In winter the average high is around 73, with an average low around 51.
